The strength of local property management ?
With 26,000 units under rental management in Savoie and Isère, Foncia was already a major player in the region. Since the group acquisition of GSI, some 17,000 units have been added to the overall volume. Stéphane Giraud, President of Foncia Alpes Dauphine, is delighted with this reinforcement.
This development will allow us to create new services, such as claims or litigation management for instance, as well as positions that did not previously exist at GSI, such as renovation and construction managers.
Although all rental management activities are now gathered within one branch – Foncia Cimes de Savoie, based in Albertville – it is also well established in the region thanks to local agencies in Moûtiers, Bourg-Saint-Maurice and Méribel.
“With this new network, we can offer GSI employees the opportunity to join the agency closest to their home in order to reduce their movements” says Stéphane Giraud.
What about the changes expected for co-owners ?
Everything and nothing! Nothing since human interaction is at the heart of our business, their contact persons will remain the same and everything, since the integration of GSI into Foncia will enable them to benefit from new technologies used by the group, along with more technical resources and services… Our reinforcement of skills will benefit everyone!
